The regatta is a competition of ancient style boats played through the main sea street of the city. The event starts with a splendid parade of ancient boats richly made and furnished with beautiful ancient wood and golden figures. The people on this ancient boats wears clothes from XV century. Infact, the historical parade evokes the triumph and glory of Caterina Cornaro, queen of Cipro on 1489.
