Macchina di Santa Rosa revokes the past moving of the holy death body of Santa Rosa from a church to another. A wooden monument of 28 metres high and 5000 kg heavy is dedicated to Santa Rosa and brought on 50 fellow’s shoulder. This machine is then moved from a side of the old town to the opposite. All the citizen are involved and gave a full participation to the “macchina”-moving. It’s taken through the city at night making a great effect because it’s full of candles and lights.
