One of the most interesting proof of the arab presence in the city. This church was built on the Norman age on a site where was a Roman temple first and an Arab mosque after. And just the Arab structure is still visible with five little red half orange-shaped domes, typical of the Middle East culture. Palermo has many signs of the Arab past settlement.
