Teatro Massimo

Teatro Massimo is the biggest opera house in Italy and third in Europe. Inside, boxes were divided in five tiers and the theatre could host even 3000 guests. The stage is the second in Europe, second only to Paris' Opera. the proscenium is instead the first in Europe. Teatro Massimo is not only first as dimensions. Its beautiful halls and great decorations give a suggestive vision. Through innovative technics the huge painted and bronze dome could be opened during the performances in the summer period. Teatro Massimo was opened on 1897 with the Verdi's Falstaff.
