This marvellous castle offers a great emotion to its visitors with its fascinating and poetical aspect. Its strong and fabulous exterior walls have been built between the IX and the XIV century; in the inner courtyard stands a beautiful Romanesque little Church, built in the 850, with its two Roman tombs which dates back to the 4th and 5th century b.C., built for the two ancestors.
The castle boasts a suggestive interior courtyard paved with carved stones and a beautiful mistery well. The suggestive architecture which surrounds the courtyard is fascinating. It has been built as a fortress to protect the ways from the north-west side; it is surrounded by exceptional and majestic double boundary walls that protected the castle during the centuries. It majestically overlooks the little village called Pavone, dominating it with its spectacular dimensions and fascinating those people which can observe it.
The hotel, rigorously four stars, offers very charming rooms and suites. The furniture have been suitably chosen to guarantee an unforgettable warm and delicious hospitality.
Each room provides the best conveniences and comforts such as mini-bar service, colour TV with satellite antenna and air conditioning for a pleasant and memorable stay.
