Lovingly converted from the 15th century Palazzo Medici dal Borgo, which is preserved by the Commission of Fine Arts, the hotel is located in the heart of Florence, within sight of Santa Maria Novella Church.
The building has undergone extensive renovation with great care given to even the smallest detail so that, although an airier lighter tone has been introduced, the original charm has been maintained.
The high vaulted ceilings and historic frescoes together with the original flooring, recently brought to light in the main hall and living area, enhance the historic architecture.
The rooms are tastefully furnished and vary in size and style, some with frescoed ceilings.
All are equipped with modern facilities:
