This magical new small hotel was once the country retreat of a noble family of Montepulciano. It has just 11 rooms and suites and an ambience second to none.
Frescoes adorn the hallway, an open range says welcome in the lounge and a manger holds books in a junior suite…
Then there is the vaulted cellar, possibly Etruscan, which houses local wine and olive oil, and on occasion a gathering of guests for a wine tasting.
In affecting the Villa’s transformation, the owners had but one rule – “It must be the best”. And how they have succeeded. Bedrooms and suites are all individually furnished with antiques and beautiful fabrics, and the bathrooms are impeccable. Villa Cicolina must be one of the best new hotels in Tuscany. The ground are equally delightful. Seasonal fruits from mature trees make jam for breakfast, a pretty fountain plays in a small formal Italian garden, and a tiny chapel provides space for reflection. But the spectacular pool causes the most gasps of pleasure, as its translucent waters spill gently over the edge and merge with the Tuscan hills beyond.

Cancellation Policy:

If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy:

All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 57.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy:

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes:

VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet:

Internet via modem is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Meal Plan:

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking:

Free Public parking is possible on site.
