High on a gentle hillock overlooking the peaceful Val d' Orcia is the breathtaking site of this luxury boutique hotel, Castello di Velona. An 11th century fortress and once the villa of famous Sienese families, the Castello di Velona is today an exclusive relais where history beautifully blends with art, viniculture and gastronomy.

The hotel consists of 22 suites, and 2 double-rooms all equipped with all modern comforts. Each of the 24 room and suites is different from the other and decorated a furnished in a different colours. All rooms have fireplaces, antiques furniture and broad views of the Tuscan countryside. All suites are equipped with air-con, 2 phones, satellite TV, mini-bar and safes for valuables.

All children are welcome. All children from 0 to 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 3 to 6 years are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. All children from 7 to 12 years are charged EUR 60.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
