This Basilica is the most interesting example of middle age art in this area. This church in romanic style was built on 1197 after almost two centuries of work. The Basilica is located in Bari vecchia and take the colour of all the building of this part of the city. infact, it is all made of white marble. Inside are the rest of Saint Nicholas the patron of Bari brought from Myra in Lycia.
